Chapter Fourteen

Jasmine

Holy crap! That was amazing. I didn’t know sex could be so good. Gavin wasn’t the worst, but he always seemed disinterested and his idea of foreplay was taking me out for dinner first. My legs feel like jelly and I’m still throbbing down below. How has my life changed so dramatically in just over a month?

Lying on the bed, I don’t think I can stand to go home. Max hasn’t said a word for the last five minutes and I’m actually starting to worry that there’s something wrong. Turning over, I position myself on my elbow so that I can look at his gorgeous face. The stubble, that was scratching my thigh earlier, covers his structured jaw. “Is everything okay?” I ask nervously. He turns his face towards me and gives me a sullen smile.

“Yeah, I’m just thinking about Dexter.”

I laugh, but realise quickly that the situation isn’t funny when his smile fades. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t laughing at the situation. It was just you were thinking about Dexter just after we had sex.” I shrug. He smiles and his chin dimples, it’s cute.

“Sorry, I’m just trying to think how I’m gonna tell him.” I feel bad for him. Dexter is his best friend, and I feel like piggy in the middle.

“You don’t have to tell him, yet. I’m not going to tell anyone. Let’s see how things go before we announce it.”

“You’re right.” He turns over to look at me. Reaching over, he tucks a stray piece of hair behind my ear. “Do you know how fucking sexy you look right now? I want to fuck you all day long.” That tingling sensation starts again and I can feel the dampness re-appear down below.

“Do it then,” I breathe.

“I wish I could, but Jake’s away and I’ve gotta run the club.” He looks upset.

“I’ve got to get home, too. I need to get ready for tonight.” I feel him stiffen next to me, his face turning pained.

“I don’t know how I’m going to cope tonight watching you up on that stage, all those men drooling over you.” He’s jealous; it makes me smile inside knowing this fact.

“Just remember whose bed I was in this afternoon, that should get you through it.” I wink and he beams a roguish smile before flipping me over and slapping my arse. Leaning over the bedside cabinet, he pulls out another condom, slipping it over his stiff cock. I watch him over my shoulder as he lines himself up at my entrance before ramming in hard and fast.
